The objective of the workshop is to analyze the physical challenges and problems of the housing area. Though the problems of the area consist of social, economic and physical aspects, this workshop will only focus on the physical aspects.

The intention of the workshop is not to develop solutions but to define the key problems regarding the physical environment: architecture, outdoor spaces and urban planning.

Workshop Output
There are three workshops and each workshop will produce a number of statements defining problems and challenges of a deprived housing area. These statements will be combined into ten common statements aiming at describing general problems of the physical environment of deprived housing areas in Denmark and will be presented at the conference the following day by the workshop facilitators.
